Sports and Recreation Facilities

Sports and recreational facilities considered to be a strong foundation of measuring the over-all wellness of the people living in a municipality. Being dubbed as the sports hub among the province of Cavite, Carmona has various sports and recreational facilities that are strategically located at different barangays.

There are 14 public and 8 private playgrounds in the municipality. Most of these playgrounds are located in public elementary schools while others are on the premises of private residential subdivisions. At present, Carmona has two Municipal Parks located at Barangay Lantic and Cabilang Baybay. A newly constructed playground is available at Barangay Cabilang Baybay beside the Carmona Community Center (C3).

Another commonly used sports and recreation facilities are basketball courts. Out of 44 basketball courts in the municipality, 22 are privately-owned, found in private residential subdivisions, private schools, and companies, while 22 are for public use maintained by the LGU, barangays, and public schools.

Moreover, there are eleven (11) swimming pools located in private residential subdivisions and a public swimming pool in Lantic, maintained by the municipal government. The tennis court in Cityland Subdivision in Barangay Mabuhay is currently utilized for free while others are privately-owned.
