  1. 2018 Passer of Good Financial Housekeeping. Announced by the DILG – Bureau of Local Government Supervision on January 15, 2019. Carmona is one of the 16 passers from the Province of Cavite.

  1. GAPAS Awards: Model LGU for Implementing Daycare Services. Awarded by the DSWD Region IV-A on February 19, 2019. The said Gawad sa Paglilingkod sa Sambayanan (GAPAS) Award is given to the LGU for its commitment to providing effective DSWD programs and services for its daycare centers.

  1. Community Mobilization Barangay Certificate. Awarded by the PNP Police Regional Office Calabarzon on April 16, 2019 at Camp BGen Vicente P Lim, Calamba City. The said certificate was presented to Barangay Poblacion 2 for satisfactory completion of all the requirements in the implementation of the Community Mobilization Project which is the establishment of the Barangay Defense System to fight against illegal drugs, criminality, terrorism, and manmade and natural disaster.

  1. National Finalist in the 1st to 3rd Class Municipalities Category of the 2018 Local Legislative Award. Awarded by the DILG and the Philippine Councilors League on June 19, 2019 at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City. The said recognition is awarded to the Sangguniang Bayan of Carmona, Cavite for its accomplishments in Local Legislation that contributed to the attainment of desirable socio-economic and environmental management outcomes which benefitted the community and enhanced the development of the Local Government Unit which they serve.

5. Plaque of Recognition to LGU Carmona: Outstanding Municipal Project Monitoring Committee 1st-3rd Class Category. Awarded by the                       CALABARZON Regional Development Council on June 20, 2019 at the NEDA Region IV-A, Calamba City. The said recognition was given to the LGU for being the lone LGU shortlisted and qualified for the Municipality (1st to 3rd Class) Category in 2018, wherein among its best practices in project monitoring activities are (a) excellent coordination and communication among members, (b) active participation of members including civil society organizations, (c) clustered approach in planning and monitoring of infrastructure projects, and (d) fund allocation for Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs).

  1. Rank 1 for Peace and Order Council in the Province of Cavite for 1st to 3rd Class Municipalities Category. Given by the DILG Region IV-A, Provincial Peace and Order Council, and Provincial Government of Cavite on June 27, 2019, at the Provincial Gymnasium, Trece Martires, Cavite. The Carmona POC displayed effective implementation of peace and order and public safety activities that intensifies advocacy and preventive education in the community.

  1. Recognition to LGU Carmona for using Best Environmental Technology (BET) and Best Available Practices (BAP). Awarded to the LGU by DENR- Environmental Management Bureau IV-A for dedicated service, devotion, and commitment to protect the environment through its sustainable practice using Best Environmental Technology (BET) and Best Available Practices (BAP). Given on July 30, 2019 during the Environmental Summit with the theme, “Beat Air Pollution: Managing Solid Waste towards a Pollution Free Environment” at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, Cavite.

  1. 2019 QPL ICT Innovation Award. The Department of Information and Communications Technology recognized the Carmona Tech4ED Center on August 16, 2019 during the 14th Knowledge Exchange Conference held in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for its innovative use of modern ICTs for community and manpower development.

  1. Plaque of Recognition as Finalist at the 2019 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Awards for Municipality Level 1 Category. Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCCI) awarded a plaque of Special recognition to the LGU of Carmona on October 4, 2019 during the Final Judging of the 2019 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Awards under the Municipality Level 1 Category. Carmona became Hall of Famer for Most Business-friendly LGU Award for the years 2009, 2010 and 2011.

  1. Seal of Child-friendly Local Governance and Regional Winner at the 2018 Presidential Award for Child-friendly Municipalities and Cities. Awarded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Council for the Welfare of Children as the Regional Winner for 2018 Presidential Award for Child-friendly Municipalities and Cities (PACFMC). Given on October 3, 2019 at Ynares Center, Antipolo, Rizal during the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance Regional Awarding.

  1. Silver Eagle Award to Carmona Municipal Station. Given by Cavite Provincial Police Office (PPO) on October 4, 2019, at Camp General Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite for the highly effective and credible police service in line with the implementation of PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. 2030 Plan.

12. ATOP-DOT Pearl Awards: First Runner-up for Best Tourism Event (Festival) under the category: As A Contemporary / Non-traditional Expression. Sorteo Festival 2019 has been recognized as First Runner-up for Best Tourism Event (Festival) by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines and the Department of Tourism under the category of Contemporary/Non-traditional Expression. Awarded during the 14th ATOP-DOT Pearl Awards on October 5, 2019, at Paoay Church, Ilocos Norte.

14. Best Cooperative in the Province of Cavite –Kawaning Pamahalaang Bayan ng Carmona-Multi-Purpose Cooperatives. Awarded during the KOOParangal at Alta D’ Tagaytay on October 25, 2019, by the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) to the Municipal Employees Cooperative (KPBC-MPC) of Carmona as the Best Cooperative in the Province of Cavite.

15. Plaque of Recognition to Carmona’s Tech4ED Center as Outstanding Tech4ED Center and Center of Excellence. Carmona’s Tech4ED Center has been recognized as the Outstanding Tech4ED Center and Center of Excellence in the whole region of CALABARZON held at Biñan, Laguna.

16. 2019 Seal of Good Local GovernanceAwarded by the DILG on November 5, 2019 at the Manila Hotel. This is the fifth time that the Municipal Government of Carmona received the SGLG. The said seal is awarded to local government units which passed all of the seven performance areas namely: (1) Financial Administration; (2) Disaster Preparedness; (3) Social Protection; (4) Peace and Order; (5) Business Friendliness and Competitiveness; (6) Environmental Management; and (7) Tourism, Culture and the Arts.

17. 2018 Presidential Award for Most Child-Friendly Cities and Municipalities. Awarded by the Council for the Welfare of Children on November 28, 2019 at the Malacañang Palace. This is the second time that the Municipal Government of Carmona received the PACFMC as it is given to municipalities and cities showing effective programs that cater to the needs of the children covering their health, education, social protection, and participation.

18. Silver Award of Carmona Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC). Awarded by the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council on December 2, 2019, at The Bayleaf, General Trias, Cavite for Carmona ADAC’s display of effective and efficient response to the unrelenting call for action in eradicating the illegal drug problem in the community.

19. 2019 Certificate of Recognition for PRIME – HRM. Awarded by the Civil Service Commission Region IV-A on December 11, 2019, at Hotel Rembrandt, Quezon City for achieving the Level 2 Maturity Indicators in the Systems and Competencies lenses of the remaining 2 core HRM systems namely Performance Management and Learning and Development.

20. Certificate of Recognition for being a Silver Provincial Awardee during the 2019 LGU Compliance Assessment. Awarded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on December 11, 2019 at Calamba, Laguna.

21. Certificate of Recognition for Carmona’s Best Practices in Migration and Development. The Municipality of Carmona is one (1) of the two (2) awardees in the Province of Cavite awarded by the Cavite Migration and Development Office during the 5th Cavite Balikbayan Day held December 18, 2019, at the Cavite Provincial Gymnasium.

22. Plaque of Recognition for achieving a score of 100% or equivalent to an inclusive status in the recently concluded 1st disability-inclusive LGU monitoring in the province of Cavite. The award was given to the Municipality of Carmona on December 18, 2019 during the 2nd Cavite Disability Rights Advocates and Leaders Convention 2019 at General Trias, Cavite.
