OFFICE MANDATE | In accordance with the Local Government Code (sec.16) of 1991, which is Promotion of Health and Safety to the community, the Office of the Sanguniang Bayan headed by former Vice-Mayor Eloisa Tolentino passed an ordinance Kapasiyahan Blg. 074-96 on August 26, 1996 stated as “Kapasiyahang Nagpapatibay sa Pagtatayo ng Pagamutang Bayan ng Carmona sa Munisipalidad na ito”, which stipulates health promotion as one of the main agenda of the local government. |
SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS |
1. Emergency Room- to provide immediate “lifesaving” measures to patients whose condition results from medical health emergency, accidents or naturally occurring circumstances. 2. Out-Patient Consultation- to provide the best possible assistance to patients particularly on check-up/consultation. 3. Uncomplicated Normal Spontaneous Delivery – to provide possible assistance to patient care particularly during labor and delivery. 4. Multi-Specialty Clinic – to provide a comprehensive medical care and treatment to complicated cases seen at the OPD and ER. 5. Pharmacy- to provide the hospital with adequate supply of medicine for patient use at the Ward, OPD and ER. 6. Laboratory (routine/send-out)- To give excellent, accurate, reliable and prompt results to all clients for better patient care and to provide the most efficient assistance to clinicians for the definitive diagnosis of patients confined and patients who comes in for check-up. 7. X-ray/Ultrasound – to provide radiologic services to patients requiring such procedure. 8. Newborn Screening- to detect potentially fatal or disabling metabolic conditions in newborns as early as possible, even before the infant manifests any signs or symptoms of a specific metabolic disease.
9. Ambulance Service – to provide efficient, fast and safe conduction of patient to their destination. |
Ø FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT | ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES- oversees the day-to-day operation of various departments in order to ensure that they are properly performing their functions in pursuance to the developmental objectives of the hospital administration. HOUSEKEEPING – Responsible in the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the hospital facilities including clinical areas and patient’s rooms. It also ensures proper hospital waste storage and disposal. BILLING AND CLAIMS – In charge of processing the patients’ bill, the discharge notice correctly computed with supporting documents checked and validated for PhilHealth deductions and other claims. SECURITY– Protect and secure hospital’s property, personnel and the clients and maintain peace and order in the hospital premises.
PATIENT CARE SERVICES Ø Nursing Service is the largest department in the hospital. It provides the core of essential hospital activities directly related to the physical and psychosocial care of patients. Ø The physician and other healthcare professionals that provide quality health care services to all patients
ANCILLARY SERVICE DIVISION- includes the Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy which provides support on diagnostic and therapeutic management of the patients. |
