    In accordance with the Local Government Code (sec.16) of 1991, which is Promotion of Health and Safety to the community, the Office of the Sanguniang Bayan headed by former Vice-Mayor Eloisa Tolentino<\/strong> passed an ordinance Kapasiyahan<\/p>

    Blg. 074-96<\/strong> on August 26, 1996<\/strong> stated as \u201cKapasiyahang Nagpapatibay sa Pagtatayo ng Pagamutang Bayan ng Carmona sa Munisipalidad na ito\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> which stipulates health promotion as one of the main agenda of the local government.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS<\/strong><\/p><\/td>

    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Emergency Room-<\/strong> to provide immediate \u201clifesaving\u201d measures to patients whose condition results from medical health emergency, accidents or naturally occurring circumstances.<\/p>

    2. Out-Patient Consultation- <\/strong>to provide the best possible assistance to patients particularly on check-up\/consultation.<\/p>

    3. Uncomplicated Normal Spontaneous Delivery<\/strong> \u2013 to provide possible assistance to patient care particularly during labor and delivery.<\/p>

    4. Multi-Specialty Clinic \u2013 <\/strong>to provide a comprehensive medical care and treatment to complicated cases seen at the OPD and ER.<\/strong><\/p>

    5. \u00a0Pharmacy- <\/strong>to provide the hospital with adequate supply of medicine for patient use at the Ward, OPD and ER.<\/p>

    6. \u00a0Laboratory (routine\/send-out)- <\/strong>To give excellent, accurate, reliable and prompt results to all clients for better patient care and to provide the most efficient assistance to clinicians for the definitive diagnosis of patients confined and patients who comes in for check-up.<\/p>

    7. X-ray\/Ultrasound \u2013 <\/strong>to provide radiologic services to patients requiring such procedure.<\/p>

    8. Newborn Screening- <\/strong>to detect potentially fatal or disabling metabolic conditions in newborns as early as possible, even before the infant manifests any signs or symptoms of a specific metabolic disease.<\/p>

    \u00d8\u00a0 FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p><\/td>

    ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES-<\/strong> oversees the day-to-day operation of various departments in order to ensure that they are properly performing their functions in pursuance to the developmental objectives of the hospital administration.<\/p>

    HOUSEKEEPING<\/strong> \u2013 Responsible in the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the hospital facilities including clinical areas and patient\u2019s rooms.\u00a0 It also ensures proper hospital waste storage and disposal.<\/p>

    BILLING AND CLAIMS<\/strong> \u2013 In charge of processing the patients\u2019 bill, the discharge notice correctly computed with supporting documents checked and validated for PhilHealth deductions and other claims.<\/p>

    SECURITY<\/strong>– Protect and secure hospital\u2019s property, personnel and the clients and maintain peace and order in the hospital premises.<\/p>

    \u00d8\u00a0 Nursing Service is the largest department in the hospital. It provides the core of essential hospital activities directly related to the physical and psychosocial care of patients.<\/p>
