-The City Vice-Mayor, shall be the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

-As the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, signs all warrants drawn on the treasury for all expenditures appropriated for the operation of the Sangguniang Bayan<\/p>\n

-Subject to Civil Service law, rules and regulations, appoints all officials and employees of the Sangguniang Bayan, except those whose manner of appointment is specifically provided in the Local Government Code.<\/p>\n

-Assumes the Office of the Mayor for the up expired term of the latter in the event of permanent vacancy as provided for in Section 44, Book 1 of the Local Government Code.<\/p>\n

-Exercises the powers and performs such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinances<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

-The Office shall render assistance in the implementation, administration and supervision of the various local programs and projects.<\/p>\n

– To assist in monitoring the implementation of the various government programs and projects as basis for more effective policies and programming of future projects<\/p>\n

 – To ensure that the provisions of Sections 16 and 17 of R.A. 7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991 are upheld in the adoption of local legislative measures and enactment of laws or ordinances<\/p>\n

– To perform additional tasks from time to time as may be assigned to it and carry out its main objectives and other duties and functions that may be prescribed by law or future enactment<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
