In partnership with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the local government conducted a capability enhancement seminar on the drug-clearing operations for Municipal and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (MADAC and BADAC). This was held at the KalusugangPambayan Hall on August 4.

The seminar started with some welcoming words from Mayor Dahlia Loyola and PNP Chief Inspector Jonathan Asnan. This was followed by eight discussions which were discussed by MLGOO Reggie Revilla and the spokespersons from PDEA namely Agent Mario C. Riñopa (Provincial Officer, PDEA Cavite), and Agent Cecille Joy Lobigas (Provincial Investigator, PDEA Cavite).
The topics of each session revolves around: (1) the drug situation in Carmona, (2) legal basis of ADAC, (3) objectives of ADAC, (4) composition and functions of ADAC), (5) barangay drug clearing operation, (6) salient features of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, (7) drug identification and ill effects of drugs, and (8) the voluntary submission program.

After the series of discussions, an open forum was held to clarify points from the sessions. Induction of MADAC and BADAC officers was also conducted to strengthen the efforts of PDEA and the local government in its fight against drug proliferation.
