Health Center certified as SENTRONG SIGLA – Phase 2 Level I
On December 2001, the Carmona Municipal Health Office was awarded as a SENTRONG SIGLA Level I (National Level) for having successfully complied with the quality standard on health services and facilities set by the Department of Health. This made the MHO- Carmona to compete in SENTRONG SIGLA Level II that focuses on the implementation of the core programs such as: Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle, Safe Motherhood and Family Planning, Child Care and Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases. On October 2005, the MHO-Carmona again passed the criteria set by the Department of Health to receive the SENTRONG SIGLA – Phase 2 Level I award.
Carmona is the first LGU in the CALABARZON accredited by DOH as Sentrong Sigla awardee.
