In celebration of Children’s Month, the Local Government of Carmona, through its Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office and Municipal Health Office held a series of activities for daycare pupils in the municipality.

With the theme, “Kung Bright Child ang Gusto, Mundo’y Ingatan Mo,” more than 700 daycare pupils from daycare centers in Carmona enjoyed free medical and dental check ups at the Municipal Health Office to familiarize them with the job of health workers and the health center.

On the other hand, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office staged Draw and Tell Contest in which 11 daycare children participated. The pupils were given 30 minutes to draw and then another 5 minutes to tell the story about their drawing.

Babylyn Loyola of Marcelino L. Basbas, Sr. of Marcelino Basbas, Sr. Daycare Center emerged as 1st place winner, Ma. Ashley Bandolis of Bancal Daycare Center and Ahron Mark Masungsong of Paligawan Daycare Center won 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. They received Certificates of Recognitions and cash prize.
