The Municipality of Carmona was again awarded as the 2010 Most Business Friendly LGU among the five municipalities that competed all over the country under the municipal level 1 category during the 36th Philippine Business Conference of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Manila Hotel on October 15, 2010.

From crafting products out of recyclable materials to facilitating livelihood programs for the unemployed, the Local Government of Carmona has been recognized for its efforts in adopting innovative projects and establishing its best practices in good governance together with the private sector.

The event was doubly made remarkable when it was graced by President Noynoy Aquino as he delivered his address emphasizing that the key to create a business-friendly atmosphere is a long-term partnership with private sectors that will greatly contribute to prosperous influx of investments and enhanced consumer confidence.

PNoy also encouraged both government and private sectors to undertake doable infrastructure projects and strengthen reforms that will help boost our national economy.

Winning the award for the second time, the LGU continues to work in partnership with the private sectors in its vision to become the Center of Investment and Sports in the province of Cavite.
