First Aid Training for Industrial Employees

PNRC Cavite, CBC and Carmona MHO initiated First Aid Training for Industrial Employees and Basic Life Support – Adult CPR for Lay Rescuers

First Aid Training for Industrial EmployeesApril 28-30, Carmona, Cavite. In cooperation with the Philippine National Red Cross – Cavite Chapter and Carmona Business Club, the Municipal Health Office of Carmona conducted three-day First Aid Training for Industrial Employees and Basic Life Support – Adult CPR for Lay Rescuers, wherein 33 employees from 21 companies in Carmona participated.

Few of the topics discussed during the training were emergency care, shock, patient/casualty-handling, soft tissue injuries, poisoning, bones/joints/muscle injuries and common emergencies. The said training was conducted to enhance emergency response skills of industrial employees and rescuers and to prevent serious injuries, disability and death.

After the workshop, the participants were given written and practical examination in order to assess what they had learned. After the evaluation, the Philippine National Red Cross issued First Aider’s and Adult CPR Lay Rescuer’s Identification Cards to all the passers.  

Participating employees were from Leader Garments, MM Steel Services Corporation, JFS Precision, Philippine Nagano Seiko, Zamperla Asia Pacific, Linearworks, Exito Electronics, Taiffini, Golden Sky Steam Laundry, Philmetal Products, Montano’s Lodge, Sung Woo Technology Philippines, Allkey Internationall Corporation, Accell Carrageenan, Induplex, Art Vivant, Wei Chang, Glofit, Soltec, Yaho Corporation, and Unicasting Company Incorporated.
